The Knoxville (Iowa) Journal-Express seeks an experienced print and digital editor for our weekly newspaper, specialty publications and daily website www.journalexpress.net.
The editor is responsible for news and editorial content and works collaboratively with five sister newspapers located in south-central Iowa.
Applicants must have the ability to report, write and edit for print and digital platforms, including social media. Experience in photography, video, enterprise journalism and editorial writing are prized.
Knoxville is the government seat of Marion County and home of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum. The city is located 40 miles southeast of Des Moines, the state capital.
